WOW Philippines Taxi Ad campaign
From January to April, a fleet of 50 taxis in Singapore will be flying the flag for Philippine tourism. The 50 cabs, spotting in the colourful livery of WOW Philippines’ many attractions, will serve as mobile advertisements for tourism to the Philippines. DOT Tourism has high hopes that the campaign will help “drive” tourism figures to the Philippines from Singapore.
31 January was the start of the WOW Philippines Taxi Ad Campaign marked by an inaugural motorcade of 25 SMRT taxis. Her Excellency Belen F. Anota, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines and Undersecretaries Oscar Palabyab and Eduardo Jarque of the Philippine Department of Tourism in Manila and Tourism Attaché to Singapore Mrs. Gerosel Siquian led the flag-off.
The WOW Philippines Taxi Campaign is composed of 50 taxis running around the island and available to commuters from January 23 to April 24, 2007.
